‘Wallpaper Owl’ features Emma's muse expertly blended into the Florence Broadhurst background in which she resides, interacting with an Australian Barn Owl.
Emma worked with the iconic Wallpapers of Broadhust 2005-2014. Wallpaper Owl was created over 14 hrs in 2008 and one of the first collections that Emma photographed herself
As with Emma's wallpaper works, the background is hung onto a wall. The model stands in front of the artwork, while Emma body paints her to match her surrounds. This artwork was created over 14 hrs application and photography. Using the camera position as Emma's guide, she works free-hand. No stencils or projections are used in the creation of this work, The Owl featured are natural and sits on her muse's hand once complete. The installation is then photographed for the final result.

'I understand it is very difficult for everybody that follows and loves my works to collect my work due to my price structure. Mother Gaia Collection 'Wallpaper Owl' is available to order online only. The artwork is created using the finest quality archival ‘photo rag’, stamped with my seal and hand signed.'

Framing ideas
I recommend taking your artwork straight to the framer, the artwork is wrapped in acid free tissue paper which will prevent the paper from discolouration, however it's not a permanent storage solution. I usually frame in a white box frame, float mounting the archival photo rag. There are many options for framing so please discuss this with your framer for options that suit you and your home.
Adelaide based framer Elite Framers will frame your artwork in my suggested float mounted frame in white at $260, please email Cameron Smith with your order number to arrange directly: elitepictureframing@hotmail.com
